Luganeca Piacenza is a mild, natural pork sausage in a traditional small hog casing made with white wine, Parmesan cheese, herbs and spices. Luganeca is a style of sausage traditionally made with a small diameter casing. Delicious with risotto or gnocchi. Historically was sold al metro (by the meter) in a coil. Allergens: Cheese (Milk), Wine (Sulfites). (A single one pound coil in a vacuum sealed package.)
With its robust herbs and spices combined with Pinot Grigio wine and Parmesan cheese Luganeca Piacenza makes a delicious roasted antipasto selection or a shared small plate. We use herbs and spices popular in the Piacenza/Emilia Romana region of Italy.
